brilliant DIY children's room idea for a weightless magic lamp, easy to make yourself for more relaxation and wonder in everyday life
... Are you looking for a sparkling and original idea for a nursery lamp or a gift for someone, or do you just want to relax a little and create something that will amaze you? Have you recently moved house and are redecorating? Or are you simply bored? Would you like to redesign a corner of your home with little time and money? Get inspired by this idea: a decorative lamp for your home, very easy to implement, that will amaze everyone and is a perfect conversation starter and ice-breaker when you have guests over. The lamp will remind you every day that what may seem unstable is sometimes more stable than you think.
What you need:
Fabric cord in a color that echoes or contrasts the colors of the room (you can find red, black or gold fabric cord here)
pliers
screwdriver
All you need to do is attach the textile cable to the lamp holder and ceiling and loop the cable into a knot. Use a transparent nylon thread to pull the lamp in the desired direction and attach it to the wall or ceiling to create the effect of weightlessness.
You don't need more than 15 minutes to hang the lamp from the ceiling and no special skills to do it. You will see that it will be a success. It may not be the most beautiful lamp in the world, but it will certainly be an eye-catcher for your children and your guests and also works as a light source - what more could you want? Having this lamp at home will instantly make you look and feel cooler. Enjoying crafting as a conscious break from everyday life and focusing on the feeling of gravity, for example, is a simple and effective mindfulness exercise to arrive in the here and now, relax and be in touch with yourself. The lamp also serves as a reminder to reflect on balance and the wonder hidden in small things and to inspire children and adults to dream and wonder. If you want to know why we chose the color red, you can check out this link: Red - the power of determination.
Your home will also benefit from this: the warm light emitted by vintage light bulbs is more pleasant than the cold white light of some LED lamps and creates a cozy and homely atmosphere.
