elegant, playful "crystal" earrings

In this post in the "Styling" section of my blog, you will find an alternative version of the elegant homemade earrings in black made from faceted glass beads that I present to you in that post.

In contrast to the black earrings, these are a little more eye-catching, but can still be easily combined with any everyday outfit. Like all the other home-made items made according to the DIY philosophy, these earrings are also an adornment, both hanging on the ears where they belong and on the earring holder on the wall at home. The beads are reminiscent of the crystal cones of antique chandeliers. However, as they are made of plastic, their weight is adapted to what earlobes can easily support. These special earrings are a perfect gift for ourselves or for someone else.

You will need

• cone-shaped beads

• silver beads with ripples

• small silver beads

• polished transparent beads, small and large

• silver wire

• silver wire with eyelet

• Ear hook

Simply attach the eyelet of the silver wire to the ear hook and thread the various round and faceted glass and metal beads onto the 2-3 cm long wire. Use small pliers to bend the end of the wire into a second small eyelet. This is used to connect the cone-shaped bead. A small wire ring, which I bent to the right size with pliers, holds the cone-shaped bead and hangs from the eyelet. I think the result creates an impression of elegant luxury with a somewhat antique and classy flair. The pearls, which are reminiscent of crystals, create a beautiful play of light and make your face glow, which is basically the aim of almost every piece of jewelry: to make us look or feel more beautiful. In short, they are a beautiful gift that can be given at a negligible cost (around €6).
