Nobody is perfect. I, too, am an absolutely imperfect person with numerous weaknesses and little habits that others may find strange. One of them is that I always like to match all the colors of what I wear: the clothes, the shoes, the watch and the jewelry - sometimes even the hair tie... :-) :-) I just like it when the colors I wear match and harmonize with each other. Since I love colors and like to dress colorful, I am forced to own a lot of accessories in different colors. In this post, I'll tell you how I made some colorful, simple earrings - in just a few minutes. I have them in different colors, so I can always find the matching earring in combination with my clothes, my scarf, my socks or my shoes.

I usually wear this type of earring as a single piece, combined with a simple stud on the other ear. If you like them better as a pair, you can simply design and wear two identical, two similar or deliberately two different ones.

With a little manual dexterity, a pair of pliers and a few beads, you can create magic... or even simple earrings like the ones you see in the photos.

You will need:

• Wooden bead

• Wooden disk, possibly a second smaller one

• small wooden bead

• Silver wire with eyelet

• ear hook

As in other posts about jewelry, I used a silver wire to thread the beads, which is attached to the ear hook with a small eyelet. These earrings are colorful, lacquered wooden beads. The wooden discs are adorned with a speckled, random-looking pattern, which in my eyes emphasizes their lively and cheerful character. I opted for earrings in one shade each, but of course there is nothing to stop you from combining different colors or integrating black and white beads that match any other color... I used small pliers to bend the end of the wire into a decorative spiral, which not only looks pretty but also has the task of holding the beads in place.

These are quite simple earrings, very inexpensive and at the same time very versatile. They are a lovely gift that can be made in 5 minutes if you have forgotten to get a present for a loved one in time. Of course, you should have everything you need at home in this case.
