Straw as a creative and quick, minimalist and simple DIY late summer decoration

Do you know that feeling of space and abundance when you walk in the fields and marvel at the fruits of the fields? I love the warm color of the cornfields in late summer, the rustling of the ears in the wind and how it feels to let the ears slide through your fingers.
If you want to bring some of that late summer feeling into your home, in this post I'll show you a simple, inexpensive, effective and pretty DIY decoration made from some straws from the field... To create them, I tied 2 straws together with (different colored) satin ribbon and wrapped them around each other. You only need 3 minutes to make them:
Straws with ears of corn
vase
narrow satin ribbon

As we all know, after late summer comes fall - or rather, I think the two are often inseparable... Late summer fall days or autumnal late summer days... If you're looking for ideas for fall decorations, take a look at the lantern flower garland or the jar of lantern flowers as quick DIY options. You can also find some ideas for your home in the "Autumn decorations" post and the decorative pumpkins made from modeling clay. Have fun browsing!
